We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App for non-commercial wellness purposes.

2. Not medical advice

Thought Garden provides self-help tools and AI-generated suggestions.
It is not a substitute for professional medical or mental-health treatment.

3. Your content

• You retain ownership of moods, journals, and messages you create.
• By uploading content you grant us a worldwide license to store and process it only to provide App features.
• Do not upload unlawful, hateful, or pornographic content.

4. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we safeguard it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

1. Use the App to harass or threaten others
2. Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our services
3. Introduce viruses or other malicious code
4. Exploit the App to build a competing product

6. Intellectual property

All Thought Garden trademarks, graphics, and code are our property.

You may not copy or redistribute any part without permission, except as expressly allowed by these Terms.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the App and delete your data at any time via Settings.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or that the AI chat will produce accurate or helpful responses.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thought Garden shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

We'll notify you in-app 7 days before major changes.
